Chitez began in Dar es Salaam in 2017 as Chite's Choice, adding value to Tanzanian agricultural produce — ginger, garlic and honey — rather than selling it raw. Today, as Chitez Incorporated LTD, every jar is still ground, blended and labelled in Dar es Salaam, and the range carries Tanzania Bureau of Standards approval.

Evelyne founded Chite's Choice in Dar es Salaam in 2017, the venture that grew into Chitez Incorporated LTD. She holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Dar es Salaam and a BCom in Accounting from Osmania University, and has spent years in business consulting, marketing and sales management across Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Innocent brings close to a decade of investment advisory experience in Tanzania, having supported companies across agriculture, agri-processing, light manufacturing and financial services to raise capital. He is a Certified Financial Educator and holds the CFE and FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) certifications, and a BCom in Corporate Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam.
